New DC Fast Charging Station for Electric Aircraft at Mannheim Airport
Since May 27, 2025, a modern DC fast charging station with a CCS-E connector has been available at Mannheim City Airport.
This makes us one of the first regional airports in Germany to offer such a charging infrastructure specifically for electric aircraft.
The new charging station enables fast and safe charging of electric aircraft directly on the apron – a further step on our path to sustainable and future-oriented aviation.
With this investment in electric aviation, we not only want to support operators and pilots, but also send a clear signal for the expansion of e-mobility in general aviation.
