Runway at night and future visions
On Saturday, 8 November 2025, it will be that time again: the Long Night of Art & Delights will attract numerous visitors to Mannheim’s districts – and we will be there again this year!
Our programme will focus on the future of flying:
We will present an exciting exhibition on the topic of ‘E-planes & green energy in aviation’ – including the fully electric Velis Electro plane from Pipistrel. Discover how sustainable aviation is already possible today and which technologies will shape the mobility of tomorrow.
A real highlight are our popular night-time runway tours – experience City Airport from a whole new perspective and enjoy extraordinary insights into airport operations after sunset.
Our Airport Bistro Caffè Chicco d’Oro will take care of your physical well-being, welcoming you with warm drinks, small snacks and a cosy atmosphere.
